Date: Sunday, May 5

Time: 1-2pm

Cost: $50 (+hst) (includes all supplies)
Instructor: Caitlin ffrench

This class explores the world of natural dyes. You will learn how to utilize the sun to make beautiful colours using different mordants and dyes. This is a great way to get beautiful colours without having to spend the day around a dye pot. (Although you will have to wait to see your results!)

You will be using locally harvested dyes, as well as dyestuff found around your home! You will go home with two jars to keep in your own window. They will produce lovely samples! You will also learn the health and safety tips of dyeing! Please wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting stained!

** MATERIALS – all costs are included in the class price. Each participant will take away 2 – 100g skeins of sport weight wool, jars and all dye stuff needed/used in the class.
