Beginner Crochet – Animal Hat

This class is great if you want to learn to crochet, polish your skills or just make an awesome Hat!

Pick from 1 of 3 Sarah Zimmerman designs: Shark, Frog, or Owl. Hat sizes are newborn – adult.

Techniques learned in this class are: Magic ring, half double crochet, single crochet, chain, changing colour and attaching pieces.

Minimum 3 and maximum 6 participants.

Materials Needed: One crochet hook (5mm or 5.5mm) and worsted weight yarn.

Frog: 100g green, small amounts of white, black and pink for details
Shark: 100g grey, small amounts of white, black and red for details
Owl: 50g each of two different colours of yarn (for base hat), small amounts of white, black and yellow/orange for details

DATES: Sundays March 12 & 19 2:00-5:00pm

COST: $60 (+tax) plus materials
