Hello! I have a lace sweater project I have been working on (bought my lovely yarn last year at your store), and my knitting guru friend has moved away! I’m a bit stuck on the project and looking for some help. Would the Stitch n Bitch night be appropriate for me to ask for help from other’s or can I sign up for some private help?
I appreciate you asking! This sounds like a bit more help than a Stitch and Bitch evening. Some of our staff offer private lessons, but this also could be a great project to bring to one of our Beyond the Basics class which is a 4 week project-based class where you get hands-on support through any project(s) of your choice.

Our beginner classes are 6 hrs total, either over three (2hr) or 4 (1.5hr) classes over the course of a month. Check our CLASSES tab to see when the next one class starts and what day of the week it runs in November. Happy knitting!

When will the beginner crochet class begin and time? I need to see if it’ll fit my family’s schedule 🙂
Unfortunately our Fall beginner crochet class happened in October. Please keep an eye on our Classes tab on our webpage for up[dates on class dates in the new year.
We will have another beginner crochet class starting in January. Our new schedule will be posted on our “Classes” tab within the next week.

Sorry for my late reply. We have another of the same backstrap weaving classes happening at the beginning of December. Please check under our ‘Classes’ tab, and give the store a call to answer questions on spot availability.

We don’t have any scheduled at the moment, but have been discussing the possibility of a ‘Learn to Knit in a Weekend’ beginner class in November. Please keep checking our Class list on our website for updates, and join our blog as I highlight new additions to our Classes as they come up.

Want to a question about a project.
Zero and seven
After row 8 do i go back to row 2 to 8 as many times as i like? Or is it row 7 and 8 repeating?
I went to 2 and this is the row that you put the marks in and it is very confusing. But need help moving on and hope that you can help. I came into the store with my son on the 23 and dropped about 150 on yarn and needles patterns.

hi Chris, sorry for the delay, we have all been on various degrees of vacation for the last week. My understanding is that you repeat rows 2-8 but ignore the part about putting in the markers, but do all the same increases etc. My suggestion would be to contact the designer catilin through revelry, she is super awesome and very helpful with the pattern. hope that helps

Do you have knitting classes for 8 year olds?
we don’t have any specific kids classes scheduled at this time – but we often have younger people in our regular classes, if that would work for you?

Lisa, you can join any of our summer knitting classes (and do crochet) otherwise the crochet classes start in September!
